apple crisp revelations: while eating some good apple crisp(<--really good) i realized that i dont really understand antique roadshow. not the mechanics of the show but why?
it seems to me that its a bunch of people who aren't 'just wondering' as they may say. it's a bunch fof people who either want to sell or tell ther friends how much it's worth and by that what theyre really saying is look what i have and how valuable it is and you'll never have it, buahaha! comon people its only worth how much its worth, well how much you like it and/or how much someone is willing to pay for it. materialism at its finest.

11:47 am - hmm
|
well, i went shopping yesterday. the famous black friday was on. i was thinking go maybe 4 hours at the most. we ended up at various malls for over 8 hours. i almost died. just came home and slept. what also upsets me is that alll the clothes out are 'flare'. this really gets me becaus ei hate flare/ bellbottoms.
anyway this is really quite unimportant. i have an interview today at 3 with a chicago alum and this could really bump me into the school. this prospect makes me very happy since its my #1 choice. i really want to get in. im really nervous and really excited at the same time.

11:15 pm - apparently the government controls.. bread?
|
and i quote from the back of my rasin bread bag
"The government demands thete there be a minimum amount of rasins in a rasin bread. But this is not good enough for Sun-Maid. Our bread has 50% more rasins than the government asks for. Also, we use other wholesome ingredients like unbleached flour, rich creamery butter ans spicy cinnamon. Plus all the added, delicious Sun-Maid rasins act as a natural preservtive. in addition to being great toasted try Sun-Maid rasin Bread for french toast, sandwiches and bread pudding. For great tasting recipies, pleast visit us ont he web at: www.sunmaid.com"
okay i mena i like socialism, well a morphed form of anti-communist democratic socialism but thatsa besisdes the point. i mean seeing the govermnent cointolling the big thinkgs like the taxes, transportation, the army, etc. but rasins?? hasnt this gone a little too far?
im going to put as many damn rasins in my bread as it want.. and they cant stop me. buahahaha!!

8:44 pm - the zeroeth law...
|
yeah physics people are morons. and i know i am one of them. its a love hate realtionship.
did you know theres a zeroeth law of thermo dynamics. yes zeroeth, as in per first. because apparently thers something wuite pivital one must know before stating that energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can only change forms (what we see as creating energy). i guess we found this out after the first law had been established and widely accepted.
im thinking that after finding this new thing out all the phsicists got together and put it to a vote. they could a) shove it under the carpet and say it doesnt exist and never happened or b) put in under a title preceeding the first law (ie halfeth law, zeroeth law, negativeth law, etc) and just shove it in there and expect people to think it makes sense because its sience. it probably came down to a real tight vote and there was much controversy over the haning chads. the nuclear physicists blamed the butterfly ballots because they were too confusing eventhough we all know they can balance 7 bingo cards at a time. after much dilema choice b was picked and the findings got shoved in under the title of "zeroeth" and the general public did indeed accept it as fact because its sience, then they muttered under their breath "damn crazy scientists"
( heres the zeroeth law )
